Jesus Is My Rock

History

Sandi and I were invited to lead music at a women’s retreat sponsored by the church that our dear friend, Tish Brown, attended. We were told that the retreat’s theme was “God is our Rock”. I got inspired to write a praise chorus for the event based on Psalm 62:6 and on Matthew 7:24-27. The tune is a favorite of the kids at our church, and our dear friend, the late Ann Tweddell, choreographed fun motions to go along with it. We released the song on iTunes in 2018; and a super cute video produced by our daughter, Lori Teh Heaberlin, can be found in the YouTube link below!
